Sit in our professional massage chair and have a massage either through clothing, or disrobe into a towel to allow for balms to be used to massage the upper back.

If you are wanting the ultimate relaxation massage experience, a hot stone massage is the perfect solution. The benefit of a hot stone massage is that the body is specifically warmed and heated using therapeutic stones, prior to commencing the actual hands-on massage. This ensures that your body tissue is gently warmed, assisted into relaxation, and prepared for the massage before the hands-on treatment, which can in some circumstances make a session more effective.
Each treatment session is customised specifically to meet your individual needs. Therapeutic hot stones, warmed prior to the session, are strategically placed around and on your body to support your warming and circulation requirements.
This hands-on massage can be tailored to be either a relaxing/general massage, or a sports and deep tissue massage. Therapeutic hot stones are often incorporated throughout the massage to actually do some of the massage.

Full Body Scrub & Warm Oil Application, Full Body Scrub with Hotstone Massage
This treatment is the ultimate relaxing treat.
We start off exfoliating the body with a gentle yet effective organic walnut scrub. This is removed with hot towels and a brush stimulating your circulation and smoothing your skin.
We then apply a warm and soothing organic oil which can be either a neutral grape seed or infused with an aroma.
Option to include a Hot Stone Massage: Using massage-grade hot stones made of smooth jade.
We recommend this treatment is followed by ample time to relax at home.

Facial Cupping:

This treatment is completed while facing upright on our massage table.
We begin by cleansing and toning away any makeup and debris collected on your skin surface.
This is done with the assistance of soft hot towels to begin your journey into relaxation.
We then apply a neutral balm or oil before commencing the facial-cupping segment. Helps aid lymphatic drainage and leaves no cupping marks.
We finish with a complimentary addition of facial massage, then chest, shoulders and scalp.
Facial Cupping and massage:
45 minutes (including facial cleanse + back, neck, and shoulder massage).
This treatment starts face-down with a relaxing 15 minute back, neck and shoulder massage.
After turning upright, we cleanse and tone away any makeup and debris collected on your skin surface.
We then apply a neutral oil before commencing facial cupping with gentle silicone cups.
These leave no cupping marks, aid lymphatic drainage and release tension through tissue decompression.
We finish with a facial massage, including chest, neck and scalp.

Traditional Japanese massage – no oil
This is a refreshing holistic approach to body rebalancing.
Acupressure points are targeted to stimulate meridian pathways (nerve/energy junctions) which interact with your nervous system to induce relaxation and wellbeing.
Chiharu uses expert stretches and rolling/rocking movements to loosen your fascia and release muscle tension & fatigue.
Pressure is varied to suit each client. This can be relaxing or more intense according to preference.

We offer a mobile massage service for most types of massage. This includes General Massage, Relaxation, Sports, Pregnancy, and Deep Tissue Massage.
Plus these add-ons: Body Scrub, Shiatsu, Facial Cupping and Reflexology for feet.
Please note that this service excludes Hot Stone Massage and a face cleanse before facial massage.
The minimum session duration for mobile massage is 1 hour.
For our mobile massage we offer both a portable massage table (requiring a space of 2.5m x 3m) and a portable massage chair.
With the mobile massage service we cover the Greater Wellington region. This includes Wellington City, Porirua, Lower Hutt, and Upper Hutt. For appointments in Upper Hutt and Porirua, please note that your appointments are likely to be scheduled to be at the start or end of the day.
Body Calm Massage Therapy offers a Flexi Booking option for all appointments. By choosing this option, it gives us permission to contact you on the actual day of your scheduled massage, to explore the possibility of moving your appointment to another time slot on the same day.
Essentially, if you select the ‘flexi’ option, and if we need to move your appointment on your day of massage, and you agree to it, you will receive a 10% discount.
This option allows Body Calm Massage Therapy a bit more flexibility with the booking schedule.
If you would like to use the Flexi Booking option, you must select this as an add on to your treatment, or add a comment to your booking.
If you would like to book a group massage session, whether for businesses or private groups, this can happily be provided.
For group massage bookings, this will be provided as part of our mobile massage service, where we will come to your business or group location.
The maximum session duration for group bookings is 5 hours (total massage time, excluding breaks).
For a little extra consider including an add-on in your treatment.
