Appointments – Bookings, Cancellations, Payments

Your First Appointment

New Client Form

Prior to your first appointment you will be required to complete my new client form. This will provide me with information to consider for your massage treatment(s), including details about any medication you may be on, past and present injuries, any major health conditions, and areas of current concern.

This can be done online when making the booking, or in person prior to your first session. This will take you approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Appointments

To make an appointment you can either Book Online, call me on 022 031 7825 (0800 233 256), or complete my Get In Touch form.

If your preferred appointment time is outside the times and days stated on this website, please give me a call and I may be able to accommodate your request.

When you make an appointment, you are agreeing to my terms of service. Please make sure you have read and understand my booking terms, especially regarding fees and appointment changes after creating your booking.

Appointment Reminders: I will send you a text reminder on your phone 3 days before your appointment. However, it is your responsibility to manage your appointments. We recommend that you put the appointment into your diary at the time of booking, and to not fully rely on text reminders. I can provide additional reminders or a phone call, if requested.

Payment Options and Terms

My payment options include paying online at the time of booking or paying by Eftpos or cash after your massage appointment.

Payment Discount: If you pay online at the time of making your booking, you will receive a 5% prompt payment discount if used in conjunction with the following coupon: “paynowtosave”. This prompt payment discount can also be applied to vouchers.

Standard fees apply for my massage services when paying in person on the day of your appointment.

Online payments (internet banking) will be accepted should electronic methods be incompatible with your card or device on the day.

Cancellation Policy

I run a strict cancellations policy, as last-minute cancellations can have a significant impact on my small business, and may deny other clients the opportunity to book.

I require 48-hour notice to cancel an appointment. Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking, as this allows time for other clients fill the vacant slot.

Cancellations must be done directly by phone, text, or email. Simply leave a voice message if calling by phone, as I check these regularly.

Cancellations cannot be done by social media messaging. This is not a sufficient method for appointment cancellations.

If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, then 50% of the total booked service will be charged.

If an appointment is cancelled on the same day it is booked for, or if an appointment is missed without any notice, then the full amount for the total service will be charged.

Clients will be sent an invoice for the amount owing for late cancellations. This must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date, or before making any future bookings.

Extenuating circumstances will be taken into account and exceptions to charging a cancellation fee may be approved.

Charges for ‘No Shows’

If you do not show for your appointment, you will be required to pay the full amount for the booked service.

You will be sent an invoice for the amount owing for your ‘no show’ appointment. This must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date, or before making any future bookings.

If you miss an appointment 3 times in a row, you will no longer be able to make a booking for my service. This policy allows other clients in need of my service to utilise these appointments.

Exceptions will be made according to extenuating circumstances.

Late for Your Appointment

If you are late for your appointment, your actual massage time may need to be cut short so that I can respect and meet the booked time of the following client.

Health Status Requirements

If you are sick on the day of the appointment (or earlier) and suspect you will not have recovered in time, please be in contact by phone, text, or email as soon as possible. Simply leave a voice message if calling by phone, as I check these regularly.

Cancellations or rescheduling of an appointment cannot be done by social media messaging. This is not a sufficient method for these appointment changes.

You will not be charged a cancellation fee for being sick.

If you are sick, please stay at home and recover. Please do not show up for your appointment as a massage can spread viruses through your body and make you feel worse. Also, by staying at home, it reduces the risk of any spread of the illness to myself and other clients who use my studio space. If I were to become sick, it directly impacts on my business and service, as I will not be able to see other clients.

If you are sick and cancel an appointment on the same day that it is booked, and you do this 3 times in a row, then you will no longer be able to book another service with me.
